Meet Our Team
Our experienced dental team are highly skilled professionals who take pride in caring for your teeth. Our office is also like a family, and we look forward to welcoming you and yours to join ours.
What sets us apart
The quality of our care and the relationships we build with our patients set us apart from the rest.
We are the opposite of the conveyor belt practice that seems to be so common in health care today. We listen well and allow plenty of time for our appointments. You won’t feel rushed and your questions and concerns will always be addressed.
Our doctors and staff hold themselves to very high standards of clinical excellence and treat our patients as family. Both Dr. Stewart and Dr. Colby and their staff continually update their education to provide high quality and effective treatments.
Each member of our team have all been active in the community while raising our kids, and it has given us a footprint in our community. We understand every patient has a story and we enjoy sharing with them through each phase that life brings. Our relationships with our patients are truly what make our practice unique.
Meet Dr. Jordan Colby, DMD
I am so excited to be in Fallbrook and have fallen in love with this community! I grew up in Carpinteria, California (The other avocado capital of the world!) where I played football and volleyball, and loved spending time at the beach. After high school I served a two-year service mission in Venezuela and Chile where I learned Spanish fluently, but more importantly, I learned I wanted to pursue a life of serving others.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Hunter University in New York City where I obtained a degree in Chemistry and Spanish interpretation/translation and graduated with Cum Laude honors. I attended the College of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University, Arizona, where I received my DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree. In dental school, I was chairman of the Academy of LDS dentists and organized a group of 20 dental students to participate in a two-week dental service mission to the island of Tonga, where more than 400 locals received free dental care.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have three girls, ages 7, 5, and 1. We also have a Golden Retriever named Redford and two cats, Pancake and Lobstah. When I’m not in the dental office I enjoy road biking, swimming and finding the best place to eat tacos.
This is an amazing time in dentistry where advances in technology and research are helping us produce excellent results for our patients in a timely manner. I love all aspects of dentistry, including endodontics (root canals), oral surgery (extractions, bone grafts), cosmetics (veneers), and of course restorative dentistry (fillings and crowns).
I am a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, I attend continuing education courses with SD CEREC docs, and Spear education seminars. There is nothing I love more than finding new and innovative ways of doing dentistry that makes it more cost effective and comfortable for our patients.
I am passionate about the work we do here and look forward to getting to know each one of you!
Meet Dr. Ed Stewart, DMD
For the past 30+ years, I have been lucky enough to help the people of our community realize the smiles of their dreams. I enjoy getting to know each patient individually, and I love seeing their self-confidence grow as their smiles improve.
For my education, I attained degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Arizona, and my DMD from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. As a part of my continuing education, I am a member of the Spear Faculty Club and attend many multi-day lectures and hands-on courses a year. This keeps me current with the latest techniques and materials to provide the best care possible for our patients. I enjoy the trend of minimally invasive procedures, which preserve tooth structure and increase patient comfort.
Dentistry gives me the opportunity to help my friends and neighbors attain optimal oral health and beautiful smiles. I am grateful for the chance to serve generations of families and make connections with new patients each day. I love my job and I am honored to help our patients attain a lifetime of beautiful smiles!
I am originally from the San Francisco Bay area, but have lived in Fallbrook for over 30 years now and am proud to call this my home. My wife, Cindy, and I have three children. Our oldest son is Nick, our daughter is Lauren, and our youngest is Max. We also have three coyote-wise cats named Henri, Etta & Gray. When I’m not in the office, I love bicycling, travel, scuba diving and woodworking.
