All-on-4 (All-on-X) Dental Implants in Fallbrook, CA
A Full New Smile, Restored in a Single Day
Failing teeth, painful dentures, or missing teeth — replaced with a fixed arch that stays in.
What Is All-on-X?
Four to Six Implants, One Fixed Arch
All-on-X, also called All-on-4, replaces an entire arch of failing or missing teeth using four to six angled implants, topped with a fixed, permanent set of teeth attached the same day. There is no adhesive and nothing removable, and bone grafting is often unnecessary, including for patients previously told they lacked enough bone.
Is All-on-X Right for You?
- You’re missing most or all of your teeth on an arch, or your remaining teeth are failing
- You’ve been told you don’t have enough bone for traditional implants — All-on-X’s angled posts often avoid the need for grafting
- You’re tired of removable dentures that slip, click, or need adhesive to stay put
- You want a fixed solution completed in a single procedure day rather than months of separate implants

Eat, Laugh, and Smile — Without Thinking Twice
Patients typically adjust to soft foods within days and return to a normal diet within a few months as the implants integrate. Unlike dentures, a fixed All-on-X arch stimulates the jawbone the same way natural teeth do, helping prevent the facial changes that come with long-term tooth loss.
Dr. Jordan D. Colby, DMD is the surgeon for All-on-X cases at Fallbrook Village Dental, from the first 3D scan through the final restoration. Learn more about Dr. Colby.

What Patients Ask About All-on-X
No. All-on-X is designed so your new fixed teeth are attached the same day your implants are placed and any remaining failing teeth are removed — you leave with a full smile, not a gap.
Replacing teeth one by one can require eight to ten implants per arch. All-on-X gives a fixed result with four to six angled implants, meaning less surgery and often a faster recovery.
Often not. The rear implants are placed at an angle specifically to use the bone patients already have, which is why All-on-X is frequently recommended for patients who were told they didn’t have enough bone for traditional implants.
With proper care the implants are intended to last for decades. The fixed teeth on top typically last 15 to 20 years before needing replacement.
Dentures rest on the gums and rely on suction or adhesive, so they can shift while eating or talking. All-on-X teeth are anchored to implants in the jawbone, so they do not shift and do not come out at night.
Initial soreness is typically managed with over-the-counter medication, and patients eat softer foods for the first few weeks while the implants integrate with the bone. A normal diet typically returns within a few months.
